Our TIC Truss Mounting Connector has a new design. The system now consists of a connector mounted on a batten. These brackets can be used for installing collar beam rafters, trusses, and scissor trusses.
When using the TIC system for truss installation, there is no need for a carpenter to work in the roof space for bracing, which reduces the risk of fall accidents. TIC45 connectors are mounted on the top side of the rafters but without coming into contact with the roofing underlay. This makes the system compatible with all types of underlay, and you can choose whether to leave the connectors in place or disassemble and reuse them for the next project.
The TIC connector requires a rafter height of at least 95 mm and can be used with rafter spacings of up to 1,000 mm. The number of required TIC brackets depends on the type and size of the trusses.
