Wood to Steel Drill Wing Screw
The drill wing screw, which is self-drilling and can be used outdoor, is used for fitting wood battens, wood fibreboards and fibercement boards to beams and steel joists. The wings remove material to a larger diameter than regular threads and prevent the threads engaging in the material, which means there is no need for pre-drilling before fitting.
